Belated Happy New Years to everyone! And yes we're still alive, let's keep it at that ^^ I'll get to the core of this update by presenting the first release of the year: Himitsu v5 c10b ver2 & Himitsu v5 c10c! I've made some changes to the part b and that's why you are getting a batch release of the second version of part b and the new part c of Himitsu chapter 10. As usual, the new download link is up and running (link to the old version of ch10b has been removed). We're finally done with the whole Himitsu c10, that was the last part, and will continue with c11 (or what we consider to be c11) which will finish off this volume. Do beware that we will not scanlate the oneshot at the end of volume 5 as we already released it as Himitsu v2 Special. Now I'll close this update by wishing you all a Happy Chinese New Year!!! ^-^

And we're finally back with a new release! Here you have Yoroshiku Master v2 Oneshot - Gates of Eden, which is a oneshot that was released with volume 2 and we skipped for later. It's a very cute oneshot so happy reading to you all (you know where to find the download link) This completes the Yoroshiku Master project, it's been three years since the release of the third volume and I doubt there'll be more. This release also puts an end to the long absence in regards to releases... I'm getting some much needed help so we're finally moving forward again. Alongside the Himitsu releases (yes the next one is much overdue but will be out before the end of the year!), we will be finishing up all the projects that are near completion and then focus on the ones that are left... especially Himitsu! It's the one project I'm going to continue with no matter what and I really can't wait to get my hands on the final two volumes~ Until next time!

Here goes! Today I bring you the long awaited Himitsu v5 c10a! New volume, new case and new challenges ^^ As usual, the himitsu chapters are insanely long so here comes the first part! Direct download link is available on the website as usual~ Happy reading! Btw, I forgot to announce that Kano Hitoya Tsuki has been dropped but now it's as official as it can be. Another scanlation group has expressed interest in picking it up though, so it'll most likely find a home there and I wish them the best of luck with it!

Our ninth anniversary came and went with 14th April, which means I'm late with the first of the anniversary releases but here it is: Jiraishin Diablo c5 (joint with the awesome ladies at Storm in Heaven of course). So, my original plan was to have 9 releases ready to celebrate our nine years but obviously that didn't come through. Instead, I'll do my best to release the remaining eight before the end of May (after which I'll be away on a summertrip for two weeks). Stay tuned everyone! ^^

This sure has been the longest time since the last update, causing people to believe that DV has closed down. Sorry for worrying everyone, but rest assured that is not the case! We're still very much alive and kicking and should that day come I will most definitely announce it properly here on the website. But for now, our goal is to reach our tenth anniversary at the very least :P Sadly, we're a bit short on staff at the moment so anyone who's interested in helping out please apply! Anyway, here you have Sayonara Watashitachi Story1 (the first of a slew releases to come)! As usual the direct download is available on the website already ^^ We'd also like to wish everyone a belated Happy New Year!

So it's mid-october already, I won't go into details but suffice to say that I'm finally all settled in my new apartment and bringing you the following release: Himitsu v03 Omake (consisting of two parts really). The first part has a definite Halloween feel to it, so consider it as a Halloween appetizer :P Anyway, with the next Himitsu release we will move onto the fifth volume so look forward to that!

We're still very much alive, so don't worry~ It's just that July was an unusually busy period for me, but things are finally settling down so more releases will be trickling out throughout the month and then it'll be the "usual" pace thereafter. Thursday the 14th April was our 8th anniversary~ Unfortunately I was too busy to finish anything in time, so the anniversary releases will be released starting today and throughout the whole next week. We start off with Himitsu vol4 ch9b (complete c9 has replaced the parts on the Himitsu project page) and Secret Keepers Story 3. Next is Kaguya Hime v05 c21 (released on Monday 18th April)! This project has officially been revived from its slumbering, thanks to the fabulous Lilanar who jumped on board to be its main editor ^^ Then we have Yaya v5 c28 (released on tuesday 26th April)! And yes we haven't forgotten about Yaya, in fact you can expect a more regular release pace for this project as it is our plan to finish it within the year. Enjoy!

I've combined c7a with c7b to make a whole chapter in the project page for Himitsu (strong dislike for parts) so you can download it in its entirety. Himitsu vol3 ch7a has been released and the download link is up and running on the website. I realize another group has started scanlating Himitsu, but DV has brought you the first 3 volumes of this manga and we will continue our high quality releases irrespective of any other group releasing it. Thanks to everyone who are patiently following our Himitsu releases and thanks for all the support. Btw, I've integrated a commenting system to this website and it seems to work well so from now on it is possible to post your comments after an update ^^

Update 06.01.11:

Today Seito Shokun v1 c3-4 have been released and with that we've released everything that had been translated for this particular project. We're officially dropping Seito Shokun and I hope it finds a home elsewhere where it gets the care and attention it deserves. I don't think people are too alarmed by what has been dropped so far, since they were mostly projects that have been inactive for a very long time. We're already embarked into a new year and it's high time to sort through our current project list and drop those that should have been dropped long before now... We'll be narrowing down the project list (i.e. finishing projects that are "soon to be complete") during 2011 which should mean more regular releases for each project~ I'm not planning on dropping any other project at this time, although I'm sorry to say that Kano Hitoya Tsuki is in danger of just that. No matter what we'll definitely finish up the first volume, but unless someone volunteers to translate the 2 remaining volumes we might have to drop it after the next Kano release. So, that's how things currently stand. Onwards!

DV has finally awoken from its slumber with the release of the all-colored oneshot Nostradamus to Sakaki-kun by Ayuko (http release is up and can be found in the complete project section) XD Sorry for the extreme long wait! Been too busy since I got back from vacation, but things are finally calming down now so you can expect regular releases from now on. The editing team has had a bit of a setback with crashing computers, but our dear miki_sweety has been working very hard to compensate for the rest of us this whole summer and I'd like to take the opportunity to really thank her for her excellent work! \( ^o^ )/ Nevertheless, right now we're in serious need of editors so if you have time on your hands and are interested in helping out, please contact us at dragonvoice@gmail.com

*Cough* I'm just here to say that we're picking up yet another project (but this time it's a manhua!) Eyeball Deep Swag by Han lu, which is a collection of oneshots. Also, the art strikingly resembles Kaori Yuki's art (I was truly intrigued when I found it <3)! Anyway, see you all in August ^^

Update 30.06.10:

A short update, the direct download links for the unlicensed projects are up and running again for now. Be sure to download our releases here on the website or in our IRC channel and nowhere else! If you see our scanlations uploaded elsewhere please help enforce our policy by notifying us at dragonvoice@gmail.com so that we can request for their removal (mangafox has taken down most of our scanlations, although none of them should have been uploaded there in the first place as DV is listed in the "Deined Manga" section... and no word or action from onemanga). Also, I'd like to take the opportunity to announce the latest additions to our future project lists, which are Sayonara Watashitachi by Ayuko, VIP & Celeb by Hijiri Chiaki, HAL by Makino Aoi and finally Kaijidou Mokuroku by Ueda Kiku (edit: apparently this project is already listed as a future project at Bliss, so I wish them the best of luck with it). These are more than enough to keep us quite busy for a good time to come, so no more future projects this year (hopefully)! ^^;;; That's all for now!

Update 13.06.10:

Due to current circumstances (read here if you don't know what I'm talking about), DV has decided to keep a low profile and stick to IRC releases for a while (all direct downloads for the unlicensed projects have been taken down for now). I was planning on "going IRC" regardless as I'll be leaving on a trip soon and won't be back until early August. However, I will be finishing a couple of chapters beforehand so that they can be released via IRC during the time I'm away. I will rethink the hosting situation when I get back, but DV most likely resume the hosting of the unlicensed projects. There's one thing I would like to make clear though, our hosting policy is and has always been: NO OUTSIDE HOSTING OF OUR RELEASES! First of all, up until now we've been providing direct download links for all unlicensed manga titles that we scanlate, which eliminiates the need for them to be hosted elsewhere. Secondly, we keep track of which projects have been licensed and ensures that none of them are hosted on the website as we stop scanlating them when a license has taken place. So please respect our policy and don't upload our scanlations elsewhere.

TADA!!! The Moon and the Lake (Tsuki to Mizuumi) story2 has just been released! That marks the end of yet another project and it's a much better oneshot than the first (if you ask me) ^^ I've been holding on to it to make it as perfect as possible, but I'm finally satisfied now. The new release is available on IRC and the http link will be up on the website in a couple of days. Happy Labor's Day!

So, our 7th anniversary is at the door! Time really just flies~ First of all I have to say thanks to all the hardworking staff members, both new and old who are still sticking around and doing such a tremendous job (love y'all)! I'd hoped to add my final touches to ALL the anniversary releases, but I've run out of time now so without further ado I'll present the first batch: Scarlet Chair v03 c10 (that finally wraps up this project!!!), Atsumare c3-4, Yasha c2, Jiraishin Diablo c2. Update 01.01.10:

Happy New Year!!! We've just released the very last chapter of Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai, that is Tennai c40 ^^ Basically, it consists of two very cute sidestories (one about Midori and one about Mamirin) as well as a complete omake story. It's been a great ride, thank you for patience! I'm almost sad to say goodbye to this lovely piece of work, but it ended when it should and for that I'm grateful. I'd like to take the opportunity to thank lagren12, for picking it up so readily after it got discontinued (and thereby introducing this manga to me), and many thanks to lethalbeef for making a comeback at a time when we most needed a Tennai translator and seeing it through to its completion. That's how we got to this day! Finally, I'd like to point out that this release as well as the christmas releases are now available on the website! Enjoy~
